Before and during your flight
• Try to get 5-10 minutes of morning sunlight on your skin and in your eyes even if it is cloudy. If it is still dark, use the Joovv light for 10 minutes.
• Stay hydrated – 250ml of water every hour of your flight
• No caffeine after breakfast
• Go for a short walk outside before your flight or walk around the airport once you have cleared security and customs
• Pack your own food. High fat and protein are best (eg. steak and macadamia nuts)
• No alcohol on the flight
• Wear blue light blocking glasses in the airport and on the plane
After your flight
• Get outside and if possible, walk bare foot on the grass to ground and de-charge the EMF’s from the flight
• Joovv light for 10 minutes
• Drink more water
• Move! Walking is perfect but any movement will help.
• Eat your first meal to match your new time zone, and make it a well-balanced one
• Screens off one hour before bed
• Try to stay awake until ‘normal’ bed time in new time zone
• WIFI off at night
• Phone off or at a minimum in airplane mode and 4m from body
• Wear an eye mask for sleeping
• Wear earplugs for sleeping
• Bedroom dark like a cave
